However, for the more intermediate users, Blogger is a platform you might want to reconsider using. Although it’s user friendly, this also means that there won’t be as many functions as more advanced platforms.

Word Press (WP) is another popular blogging platform. The majority of the people who use WP are experienced bloggers or have knowledge about html and css. There are many more features to Word Press than Blogger, but you will need to know more computer literate to use them. Word Press has many more template options and some templates some with search engine optimization already built into the template. Most people who use WP pay for hosting and domain names, but you can use WP free of charge.

To conclude, it is recommended that a beginning blogger should try the free blog Blogger platform first. If they like blogging and think they will stick with it, then they can purchase their own hosting and domain name and use Word Press.
